We heard new work on the use of POS family of measures in community, in-patient, day hospice, NHS specialist palliative care inpatient unit settings with diverse patients groups such as with haemodialysis, decompensated liver disease, dialysis and end stage kidney disease patients. The presented work demonstrated use of POS data in symptom management, audit, and service evaluation and in observing changes in quality of life. Poster presentations also included innovative work in palliative care.
