POS and IPOS Translations
The process of linguistically validating measures is lengthy and involves a number of important steps. To date, POS has been translated into 14 languages and IPOS has been translated into 7 languages with another 13 underway.

The POS development team is currently working with teams around the world to ensure that all of the required steps for validation are completed. We have developed good practice guidelines to aid the process - The POS family of measures manual for translation, cross-cultural adaption and psychometric testing.

Our guidance builds on those provided by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and the MAPI Institute.
